When this happens, we’ll begin a thoughtful and collaborative conversation with you about transitioning your child to our Wobbler Room—a space specially designed for children aged 12 to 24 months.

That’s why we ensure every transition is handled with care, communication, and your child’s individual readiness in mind. You’ll always be involved in the process, and we only move children when we know they are physically, emotionally, and developmentally ready for the next step.

The Wobbler Room offers an environment where increased mobility meets growing curiosity. At this stage, children are beginning to walk, climb, explore, and interact more intentionally with the world around them. Our room supports this natural progression by providing safe, age-appropriate opportunities for:

• Gross motor development, like crawling, cruising, and walking

• Fine motor skills, through guided activities and tactile play

• Sensory exploration, with materials that engage touch, sound, and sight

• Language development, through songs, stories, and early communication games

• Social learning, with gentle support in parallel play and early interaction

We also place a strong emphasis on emotional development. While children are becoming more independent, they still need a strong sense of security, affection, and familiarity. Our educators provide warmth and consistency to ensure your child feels safe, loved, and confident to explore.

Your child’s day in the Wobbler Room includes a well-balanced routine of active play, structured learning moments, rest time, and of course, plenty of opportunities for hugs and connection. We use a blend of visual, auditory, and physical learning tools to keep your little one engaged and stimulated throughout the day.

Activities are guided by your child’s interests and abilities, encouraging creativity, exploration, and confidence. Whether it’s stacking blocks, dancing to music, exploring textures, or looking at picture books, every moment is designed to support development in a fun and meaningful way.
